This year’s theme for Lent is:

Fearing, Loving, and Trusting--Living out the Lord's Commands

Ash Wednesday Service with Holy Communion will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 7:00PM.

The 5 weeks of evening Lenten Worship Services at 7:00pm are:

• Week 1 (Feb. 21): 1st and 2nd Commandments, Daniel 3 and Luke 16:19-31. 

• Week 2 (Feb. 28): 3rd Commandment, Deut. 6:1-9 and Luke 2:41-52

• Week 3 (March 6): 4th, 5th, and 6th Commandments, 1 Sam. 26:1-12 and Mark 12:28-34

• Week 4 (March 13): 7th and 8th Commandments, 1 Kings 21:1-29 and Luke 19:1-10

• Week 5 (March 20): 9th and 10th Commandments, Micah 2:1-5 and Luke 12:13-21

LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS -- Soup and sandwich suppers are at 6:00pm on Wednesdays beginning February 21. A sign-up sheet will be posted across from the office for ways you can help in providing soup and/or dessert, or help with set-up/clean-up. Lenten Worship begins at 7:00pm.

LENTEN OFFERINGS -- The Lenten offers will be divided equally among:

• Malawi Orphan Care Project
• Restoration Urban Ministries
• Child Voice International
• Great Rivers Chapter of the STS
• NALC 20/20 Vision
