AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST
Ambassadors enjoy caring and serving God's people and do so by committing themselves to visiting one member of the congregation, who is home bound or nursing home, each month. Their love of the Lord and His body, the church, is fulfilled by keeping people connected with the church.
FUNERAL COMMITTEE
This committee cares for families who have lost a loved one by coordinating food and worders to prepare a meal to be shared by the family and friends following a funeral.
HISTORICAL COMMITTEE
Started in 1978 as a group dedicated to collecting all the historical odds and ends scattered all over the church. The first couple of projects involved finding confirmation pictures and starting Confirmation Anniversaries, as well as finding pictures of the Pastors. Members are passionate about the history of this community and Immanuel Lutheran Church. View a history of our church here.
